It starts as a Halloween dare:
Break into the old lady’s house behind the abandoned bookshop.

Everyone’s heard the rumours…

She murdered her whole family and hid their bodies under the floorboards.
She never leaves the house — except to enter Twister championships!?
Some say she’s over a hundred years old.
Others say she’s immortal — and knows everything.

Just stories… right?

You keep telling yourself that —
until the metal gate slams shut behind you,
and you realise you’re inside an elaborate trap.

What started as a thrill becomes a game of survival.

And while Granny may not see well,
she hears everything —
and moves like lightning ⚡

YOUR MISSION

Most people install home security to keep people out.
Granny installed hers to keep them in… forever.

She’s always searching for new blood to rebuild the perfect family she never had. Her home is now a booby-trapped fortress — a twisted maze of puzzles, surveillance, and human traps. Only the smartest and most coordinated can break out.

This is not a traditional escape room. There is no fixed path. No linear sequence of puzzles.
To disarm the system, you’ll need to work as a team, split across the house, and act simultaneously in different rooms — all while avoiding Granny herself, who’s hunting you down and testing whether you’re worthy to join her family.

Think of it as a real-time survival game, like stepping inside a multiplayer horror video game.

Granny is a cryptic, layered experience.
If a little confusion makes you uncomfortable — or if you just want to be told what to do — this is not the game for you.

But if you thrive under pressure, love being thrown in the deep end, and understand that discovery feels best when it’s earned, then welcome home.

• Physical requirements: Granny doesn’t do stairs, so everything happens on one level. No crawling required but uneven surfaces throughout. Pregnant guests are advised not to attend — Granny has her reasons.
• Location: 2 mins from Bethnal Green tube station on the Central Line.
• Food & drink: Granny’s got a sweet tooth. Discover a stash? Enjoy a treat (or two) from the sealed goodies—do check for allergens.

*This assumes that you arrive on time, ten minutes before your scheduled start time. If you arrive after this time, your game time may be reduced by the time it takes to check you into the experience. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late (i.e. 5 minutes after the scheduled start time of your game), then you will be denied entry and no refund will be provided.

IMPORTANT INFO

• We do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows. We are like a train – if you miss it, it’s gone. See our terms and conditions.
• Please arrive at the venue exactly 10 minutes before the start time of your booking. Don’t arrive too early or you could spoil the experience for yourselves. And please don’t bang on our door – that’s just impolite. Even though your booking party will all play the game in one group, you will be admitted in small groups. It is essential that you follow the signage outside the venue.
• Due to the nature of the experience, and the way our shows are scheduled, if you are more than 5 minutes late you will be denied entry and will not receive a refund. Make sure you read and accept our terms and conditions before booking.
• There is a bathroom inside the event, but this will only be accessible after your game has started, so please try to use bathroom facilities in advance of your arrival.
